Apart from these, the Spearmint Oils are also used in making various kinds of ointments, lotions, creams, tooth pastes, shampoos and conditioners. These oils have strong odor, and are light yellow in color. These are extracted from plants at the foothills of Himalayas in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. These Mentha Arvensis Oils are obtained through steam distillation and filtration of the plant leaves. Dark yellow to pale yellow in color, these are volatile oils, and have various applications.
